Tools include critical measures or KPIs that hospitals and health systems need to track to better manage and care for their COVID-19 patients, as well as the rest of their patient population, and a capacity management dashboard that displays these current measures in an easy to understand format. The tools also include the logic to implement COVID-19 specific measures based on criteria provided by the CDC. This will result in better, more informed decisions in order to improve patient outcomes.

COVID-19 Capacity Management Package

Dimensional Insight is offering its customers a COVID-19 Capacity Management package to give them visibility and a better understanding of their impacts from COVID-19. The new package provides the tools necessary for a comprehensive approach to assessing, monitoring, and actively managing the COVID-19 patient population. The dashboards are geared to providing insights into the number of COVID-19 patients, both suspected and diagnosed regarding counts, locations, severity of illness, disposition, and testing on an hourly basis.

COVID-19 Post-Discharge Package

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), in conjunction with other stakeholder organizations, has provided guidance for ICD-10 coding of COVID-19 related healthcare activities. Dimensional Insight is offering its customers a complementary COVID-19 Post-Discharge Package containing the relevant measures. This information will be important for reporting to government agencies, analyzing transmission patterns, future research, and reimbursement.
